Privacy Policy

RaveLoop Product Reviews (“the app”) is provided by Coders Creation. This policy explains what data the app stores and sends when you install it on your Wix site and when your customers write reviews through it. The app’s backend runs on Wix’s own hosting, and everything it stores is kept in your own site. No data goes to a server of mine or to anyone else.

What the app stores in your site’s CMS

RaveLoop Settings: your widget settings (heading, texts, colours, moderation choices, the coupon code for rewards), when review requests are prepared, the last known plan of your site and how many requests were prepared this month.
RaveLoop Reviews: one record per review with the reviewer’s name, email address, rating, title, text, photos, whether it is a verified purchase, the product, the status (waiting, published or rejected), your reply and the time it was written.
RaveLoop Requests: one record per review request with the customer’s name and email address, the order number, the products in the order, the one-time link token, the status and the time of the request and of any reminder.
Photos: photos attached to reviews are stored in your site’s Media Manager in the folder raveloop-reviews.

These collections are readable only by site admins. You can view, export, change or delete the records in your CMS at any time, and the Reviews tab lets you delete a review with its photos.

What is shown publicly

The product page shows the name, rating, title, text, photos, date and verified-buyer badge of published reviews, and your reply. The reviewer’s email address is never shown and is never sent to the visitor’s browser.
On the Business plan, each product page carries structured data with the average rating and the number of reviews, so search engines can show stars in their results. It contains no personal data.

What the app sends, and to whom

When a customer submits a review, the review and its photos go from the customer’s browser to the app’s backend on Wix and are saved in your site’s CMS.
When an order is paid or fulfilled, the app reports the event “Review request is ready” (and on request “Review reminder is ready”) to Wix Automations with the customer’s email address and name, the order number, the product names and the one-time review link. The data is used only by the automations you create, for example to email the customer from your own address. The app itself sends no email.
The app reads the orders and products of your store to prepare requests and to show product names. It does not change them.
Nothing is sent to Coders Creation, and no data is sold or shared with anyone else.

Site visitors and customers

The widget reads only published reviews. It sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
A review request link is valid once and only together with the email address of the order. A customer who opens it sees their name and email filled in so they do not have to type them again.
Reviews written straight from the product page, without a link, are stored the same way and shown without the badge.

Your responsibilities

You are the controller of your customers’ data. Tell customers in your own privacy notice that you collect reviews and keep their name and email address, answer their requests to see or delete their data, and delete reviews you no longer need.

Removing the app

When you uninstall the app, Wix removes it from your site. The three RaveLoop collections and the photo folder stay in your site until you delete them, so you keep your reviews.
