Privacy Policy

VisitLens Visitor Analytics (“the app”) is provided by Coders Creation. This policy explains what data the app uses when you install it on your Wix site.
What the app uses
- Basic site information that Wix shares with every installed app (site ID, app instance ID, site name and URL, plan status). It is used only to know which plan your site is on and to apply your settings.
- Your settings (time zone, goals, exclusions and switches). They are stored inside your Wix site as part of the app’s embedded script, not on Coders Creation servers.
- Anonymous totals: page views, visits, bounces, time on page, scroll depth, device type, browser and operating system family, language, approximate country, referring website, campaign parameters, page paths and titles, click positions, event names and goal counts. They are stored per day and per month in a collection named VisitLens Stats in your own site’s CMS. They contain no names, email addresses, IP addresses, user agents, visitor IDs or other personal data, and older rows are deleted automatically according to your plan’s history period.
Site visitors
- The script in the visitor’s browser derives the country from the browser’s time zone and the browser and system family from the user agent string; the raw values are not stored.
- The script keeps the current visit in the browser’s session storage and, when “Remember returning visitors” is on, one local storage entry with the date of the first visit. It sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
- The app does not collect, store or sell personal data of your site visitors and does not record sessions.
Where data is processed
The app’s backend runs on Wix’s own hosting infrastructure. Requests from the visitor’s browser go to that backend and the totals are written to your site’s CMS. Coders Creation operates no separate server and has no access to your statistics.
Removing the app
When you uninstall the app, its script and the VisitLens Stats collection are removed from your site. You can also clear all statistics at any time from Settings.
