SiteTune SEO Checker & Coach (“the app”) is provided by Coders Creation. This policy explains what data the app uses when you install it on your Wix site.
What the app uses
- Basic site information that Wix shares with every installed app (site ID, app instance ID, site name and URL, plan status). It is used to know which plan your site is on and which site to scan.
- Your site’s SEO settings (page titles, descriptions, focus keywords and other tags), read through the Wix SEO API to check them and, when you click Apply, written back to the page you chose.
- Your published pages, fetched from your site’s public address during a scan exactly as a search engine would fetch them. The facts derived from them (tag lengths, heading structure, word counts, image and link counts, issue codes) are shown in the dashboard; the compact result of the last scan and one score per day are stored in a collection named SiteTune Data in your own site’s CMS.
- Your settings (which page types to scan, ignored checks, the addresses of sites you compare and the optional local business details). They are stored in the same collection on your site.
- Pages of other websites that you ask the app to compare. They are fetched once on your request and are not stored.
Site visitors
The app adds nothing to your site’s pages and collects no data about your visitors. Structured data you choose to publish becomes part of your page like any other content.
AI suggestions
Title, description, alt text and keyword suggestions are produced by the Wix SEO services from the page name, focus keyword and page topic you see in the app. Coders Creation operates no model of its own.
Where data is processed
The app’s backend runs on Wix’s own hosting infrastructure. Coders Creation operates no separate server and has no access to your scans, settings or pages.
Removing the app
When you uninstall the app, the SiteTune Data collection is removed from your site. Tags and structured data you applied remain in your pages, as they are yours; they can be changed or removed in your site’s SEO settings at any time.
